CS: Personally, do you find yourself gravitating towards science fiction in any way?
Hardy: No, I go anywhere I can. I’ll do anything anytime anywhere. It’s like a fight. I like acting. I love it. It’s my passion. If I don’t work in movies or in film, I’ll work in a stage. If I don’t work on a stage, if I get locked up in prison, I’ll be telling stories to myself. You know, I’ve got plenty of friends in prison so I’ll be okay. I’d tell them stories and I’d be fine. This is something I do because I love it. If I wasn’t doing it in the entertainment business, I’d probably be in some other country pretending to be in some other religion taking notes on SCUD missiles somewhere in the desert shooting people.
