The iron work is exceptional, one of the finest examples in Chelsea.Dante Gabriel Rossetti lived with his brother William and poet Algernon C. Swinburne. Rosetti’s residence in Cheyne Walk annoyed his neighbours, as he kept a menagerie of unusual animals, including wombats, parrots, an armadillo and peacocks. In the late 1960’s Keith Richards lived in a house in this terrace (No 3) I imagine that he annoyed neighbours too. Tudor House. I’ve been there. someday i will have a wrought iron gate exactly like this one.
